Goat 4-H
Below are some photos. Stay tuned for a fun announcement (horse related, not goat)!
Last night I went with the church youth to the Civil Defense Caves. I'm not that into caving, but these caves are pretty cool--literally and figuratively. Even during the hottest part of summer, you can find ice inside. As you approach the cave entrance, there is an invisible "line" where the temperature suddenly drops sharply. The photos below detail a description of the caves and how they acquired the name. Goat 4-HKids 1, 3 and 4 are showing goats in the 4-H fair this summer (Kid 2 opted for crochet.) We had our first meeting with the goats this afternoon. It was kind of a rodeo, with half the kids getting dragged around by their goats. Typical first day!
