Today is the first day I've really felt good and had my appetite back. That meant I could jump back into my new workout program. One of my non-horse Christmas presents was P90X2 (picture Tony Horton crossing his forearms in an X and then holding up 2 fingers). I felt like I needed a indoor total body workout to get me through the nasty cold, dark months of winter. It's too easy for me to just walk or run and ignore my upper body.
The first three DVDs comprise the Fundamentals portion of the program. Today was the start of my second week. I don't yet have all of the strength or flexibility to do all of the exercises perfectly, but there is a distinct improvement over my first attempt on Christmas Day when I was falling all over myself trying to mimic the moves!
