We followed the old railway trail out for about an hour, then stopped and ate lunch before heading back. Got the girls some ice cream at the Ashton root beer stand and then had to swing by Tri State Tire because I noticed one of the trailer tires looked really low on air. It's always an adventure!
My two oldest girls had off of school yesterday since they didn't need to take the attendance finals, so we headed off to Bear Gulch for a trail ride. We took Piper and Sweetheart. The girls rode. I walked and jogged. It was a good workout and a beautiful day to be out in the mountains. The river was a gorgeous blue color with some whitewater through the narrow areas. I would have taken a photo, but I knew my cell phone wouldn't come close to capturing it accurately.
